Good Food Producers Guide 2011

Rose is already working on the 2011 edition of her Good Food Producers Guide. This is a totally independent guide to more than 1000 farm shops and artisan producers in the UK. If you have any suggestions for outlets that might be included please e-mail with as much information as possible to

Judging the BBC Radio Four Food & Farming awards will take place in September and October. If you have any nominations (they close on August 15th) please click here to see the list of categories and nominate someone .

Sept 4 - First part serialisation of Kitchenella in the Daily Telegraph and available from the Telegraph bookshop.

Sept 16 - Publication of Kitchella.

Sept 17 - 'Independent' Woodstock Literary Festival 2pm event.

Sept 18 - Dorset Food Festival at Wimborne. This is a fantastic food fair. Only started last year, it is one of my favourites.

Sept 24-25 - Aldeburgh Food Festival. A charming, innovative event.

Oct 16 - 'Times' Cheltenham Literature Festival "Elizabeth David" discussion where Rose will be discussing her influence with her literary executor Jill Norman and David's biographer Artemis Cooper.
